BRASSERY

Fine nameplates for fine art.

Each nameplate is individually crafted to accompany a painting — laser-engraved with the precision it deserves, hand-finished to endure as long as the canvas itself.

SCROLL

Three distinct characters,
each telling its own story.

From the warm patina of centuries-old brass to the luminous polish of freshly buffed metal, every finish is chosen to complement the work it names.

Aged Brass
Warm, time-worn patina with gentle darkening at the edges. Suggests provenance and history.
Super-Aged Brass
Deeply oxidised, almost bronze in character. For works that command reverence.
Shiny Brass
Polished to a bright, reflective lustre. Clean, contemporary, and unmistakably precious.
La Route de Rocquencourt
Camille Pissarro
1830 – 1903

Made with the care
great art demands.

Brassery began simply: as a collector's frustration. The nameplates readily available were almost universally shiny brass, offered in a handful of sizes with little to no customisation — serviceable, perhaps, but hardly worthy of the works they named. The search for something better led here.

Each plate is hand-finished to its chosen patina first, then laser-engraved for absolute precision — delivering crisp, deeply contrasted lettering that stands apart from the finish beneath.

Laser EngravedEvery letter cut to perfect depth and consistency — crisp, deeply contrasted, unmistakable.
Hand-Applied PatinaNo two aged plates are identical — each develops its own character before the engraving begins.
Archival MaterialsSolid brass only, treated and sealed to resist tarnish. Displayed indoors, a Brassery nameplate will remain beautiful for decades.
